Timber Floorboard Replacements

At Timber Floor Doctor we can replace all sorts of floorboards including:

To do the best job, it’s always better if you have spare boards for us to use otherwise we can let you know if your floor is one where we can source material for you.

Generally

• We can supply most solid timber or parquetry timbers for repairs
• For laminates, engineered, bamboo, vinyl and hybrid floors, there are many brands and varieties on the market so it’s very helpful if you know your brand and can arrange to purchase more product from your original supplier.

Where it’s not possible to source additional boards for a replacement, we can sometimes work around this by completing a surface repair on the damaged boards. Click here for information on surface repairs

For solid timber and parquetry board replacements we always recommend that the full floor be re-sanded and coated to help match the new boards match as closely as possible to the existing floor. However, where required we can simply sand and coat the replaced boards. In this situation those boards will look different in both colour and gloss level to the rest of the floor.
